Every revolution triggers a counterrevolution. Professor M. A. Bamyeh deconstructs what revolutions are, and how we can look at them from another point of view. If ones considers the political pushback of the ruling elites, the militarization and geopolitics as separate frameworks, one can distinguish the tremendous mental and social shifts the Arab Spring has initiated in many countries in the region.
